Terra is committed to helping those in the health and wellness service industry bring balance to their business. She is looking for those who are overwhelmed with managing the back end of their business and want help with their social media and busines projects.
Terra has a team of expert virtual assistants who will help you with the stressful tasks of promotional material development, social media platform development and engagement, system updating, website updating, and more so you can focus on your field of practice.
Terra’s journey as a business owner
Terra became a business owner at the very young age of 9 years old. She started selling tools at her parent’s basketry school. She did the whole process of having a small store: ordering, inventory, accounting, and pricing. My passion for business grew with my wellness center in 2003 after receiving my business management degree and massage therapy license.
I love managing my wellness center and working with clients. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a smile on a client’s face as they leave relaxed after a treatment.
Going through change
Terra is one of those people that a busy thriving life is what drives and focuses her. Covid19 hit and everything stopped. What now? This was a question she had to ask as a single mom running a business that was mandatory shut down.
During the shut down she contemplated what areas of her thriving business that she loved and kept her inspired. She realized she loves to organize, manage, coach, and work one-on-one with individuals to give them that inspiration and excitement to move forward on their dreams. She decided to begin a new journey by going back to school to become an Virtual Assistant and she launched a new business Finding Business Balance.

For Terra running the tool shop at her parent’s basketry school, to managing a nursing home, restaurants, and an Inn all influenced the managing style that she uses today.
Terra has a business management degree from Fairmont State College, is a Certified IIN Coach, a licensed massage therapist, and schooling as a Virtual Assistant.
Terra doesn’t let walls stop her but chooses to step up, breakthrough, and get the job done. Each layer of experience and education Terra has is used to build something new and with that, she wants to use her experience to help your business grow.

Some fun personal facts about Terra
Terra loves to travel. She has lived in New Zealand and Italy. Terra speaks some Italian and Spanish and loves to practice. Part of her interest in being a virtual assistant is having the freedom to travel later in life.
Being a business owner allows Terra the freedom to do things she loves such as yoga, hiking in the beautiful hills of her home state of West Virginia, meditation, cooking, volunteering at the local food bank, gardening, and spending time with her son and family. She is passionate about learning and an avid reader of health, self-help, and romance.
